Takedowns
How to ask for a link to be removed.
If You Have an Account
Use the Report button on the link's detail page. Pick author request for your own work, illegal for copyright or other legal grounds, or other.
If You Don't
The form goes to the same moderator queue. You'll get a reference number, and we'll reply to the email address you give us.
The DMCA option asks for the statutory elements: the work you're identifying, your contact info, the good-faith-belief statement, and an electronic signature under penalty of perjury. Other categories ask for less.
What Happens After
A moderator reviews the request. If the link is removed, it disappears from search, feeds, and its own detail page; we don't host the content of the linked page itself, only the title, description, vouches, and edit history that live on our side.
Counter-notice
If a link of yours was removed and you think the takedown was in error, file a counter-notice through the same form. Pick "Other legal grounds" and include the standard counter-notice elements in your statement: what was removed, your contact info, consent to jurisdiction, and a sworn statement that the removal was a mistake.
Old-school notices to: legal@our.directory. The form above is faster.
